Philippians was written by Paul to the town of Philippi to thank them for the gift they sent him. Also, Paul wanted to encourage the believers by showing them that true joy comes from Jesus Christ alone.
In a time we are currently in, joy seems to be a rare commodity. We must remind ourselves that there are many things, as believers, to be joyful about. And for those who may not know who Jesus is, to see our joy should be the light that offers curiosity allowing us to share why we can be joyful during these times.
When was the last time you really experienced joy? Please join us to reacquaint ourselves with the true meaning of joy and find a way to experience it more frequently. Paul’s “Joy” letter will no doubt help us reach our task at hand.
See you next week.
